This department manages directly managed stores nationwide, and collects information about each store, acts as a liaison between other departments and the field, and responds to various needs related to store operations. Specifically, I manage sales figures, create and review store manuals, manage part-time staff, mediate in-store POP related to collaboration projects by the Marketing Department, and handle contract negotiations related to store maintenance and kitchen equipment.

I was interested in the food and beverage industry because I have always loved eating. When I attended a company information session and heard that the company would be expanding its business as a "curry specialty trading company" rather than focusing on sales from curry restaurants, I thought it would be interesting to work for a company that was about to undergo a transformation, so I applied. I have also faced a "second founding," and have experienced even greater transformation than I expected.

We are responsible for sales activities to expand GoGo Curry's franchise stores and for planning and operating the food delivery service. Until now, the franchise strategy has mainly been based on recruiting by holding information sessions, but as the focus shifts to a sales-based approach that defines targets, I am in charge of a range of tasks, from formulating sales strategies to actually proposing plans and following up on store openings after contracts are signed.

I was just thinking about my future career, so one of the reasons I joined was that I felt that the environment had a lot of discretion in my work and that I could expect further growth as an individual. My work is directly linked to the company's performance, so I have a lot of responsibility, but I get a clear sense of accomplishment, which makes it rewarding.

Responsible for directing and managing directly managed stores, which are the front lines of the business
