May 5th is "Go Go Birthday"! This year, we're declaring the opening of "Go Go Birthdays," a 20-day series of events leading up to the big day, including a "store visit campaign, movie collaboration, and free roast cutlet curry"!

GoGo Curry Group Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture; CEO and Representative Director: Makoto Nishihata; hereinafter "GoGo Curry") will hold "GoGo Birthdays," a series of campaign events leading up to "GoGo Birthday (May 5th / GoGo Curry Day)," from April 23 to May 5, 2026.
"GoGo Birthday" is a special day when GoGo Curry is in its most festive mood all year.
This day, named "GoGo Curry Day" after the Japanese phonetics for "5-5" (Go-Go), is officially registered with the Japan Anniversary Association as a memorial day to celebrate the development of curry culture and express gratitude to all curry fans both domestically and internationally.
The theme for 2026 is "GoGo Birthdays."
To share the "festival" spirit with customers who share the May 5th birthday with GoGo Curry and everyone who wants to enjoy this period, we will be launching gift campaigns in stores and on social media, as well as new announcements, almost every day for 20 days starting from April 23!

Here's a sneak peek at what's in store for "GoGo Birthdays." Details on participation requirements, eligible stores, and precautions for each event will be announced again closer to the date, so please follow GoGo Curry's various social media accounts and stay tuned.

The core of "GoGo Birthdays" revolves around events that are "fun and rewarding to visit the store."
The "store lottery," which was popular last year, is scheduled to return again from late April. Stay tuned for details on the luxurious prizes.

Furthermore, this year, with the theme of "Let's celebrate birthdays together on May 5th," we plan to offer a "free" medium-sized roast cutlet curry to those born on May 5th!

The "#GoGoCurryRemodeledToppingContest" is finally in its final phase! The winner of the ultimate battle, with over 800 entries, and the grand prize (550,000 yen) will also be announced on May 5th.

The "#GoGoCurryRemodeledToppingContest," announced in December 2025 and accepting entries across X, Instagram, and TikTok, received over 800 submissions!
From those that can be replicated at home to those with an outstanding visual impact, and even forbidden variations that make you wonder, "Is that allowed?" The search for a new menu item, adding a twist to GoGo Curry's "cutlet and cabbage," is reaching its climax.
In the interim announcement in January 2026, noteworthy creations that impressed employees, such as "GoGo Jiro," "Mapo Tofu Overlap," and "Anko Butter Curry," were revealed. Furthermore, category awards such as "Gorilla-level Impact Award," "Gorilla-ginal Award," "Night Gorilla Award," and "Gorilla-push Combo Award" were newly established to accelerate the second half of the contest.
During "GoGo Birthdays," the nominated works that garnered particular attention during the judging process will first be announced on Monday, April 21, 2026.
And the announcement of the grand prize winner (550,000 yen) will be on GoGo Birthday itself, Tuesday, May 5, 2026 (public holiday)!
The grand prize-winning work is scheduled to be added to the menu at actual GoGo Curry stores. On GoGo Curry's most symbolic day of the year, a "new menu created with everyone" will be decided. Category awards will also be announced on the same day.

Details still under wraps! Collaboration between GoGo Curry and the movie "SAKAMOTO DAYS," scheduled for release on April 29 (Wed/Holiday), to begin in late April — we'll support the movie's release not only with special menus but also with "entire stores."

During the "GoGo Birthdays" period, a collaboration between GoGo Curry and the movie "SAKAMOTO DAYS," which is attracting attention for its release during Golden Week, is scheduled to begin.
This collaboration won't just end with the appearance of "limited-time menus."
In addition to original menu items with novelties inspired by the movie, special collaboration stores with themed interior decorations and staff uniforms are also in preparation.

We plan to prepare a "movie release = birthday for the movie" celebration that only GoGo Curry can offer, to enhance the mood before and after watching the movie.

To further boost the excitement for May 5th = GoGo Birthday! Special gifts distributed on the day + a social media campaign to win a Guam trip just before the birthday.

On GoGo Birthday, May 5th, we will present the popular 5-sheet topping service ticket, the Premium Ticket, which is well-received annually.
In addition, this year, we are expanding "GoGo Birthdays" on social media. A campaign to win a trip to Guam will be held, originating from the official GoGo Curry social media accounts!
This will be another celebration for those who cannot visit the store or live far away.
