I'm back in Omiya. Go Go Curry is returning after about 10 years! That familiar taste is making a comeback in Omiya, Saitama, restarting in the fiercely competitive gourmet area right outside the east exit of Omiya Station.

Returning to Omiya, a fiercely competitive area for gourmet food, we're taking on the Saitama curry scene with our rich, 55-hour aged curry roux and freshly fried cutlets. An opening celebration campaign will also be held from Sunday, March 15th.

GoGo Curry Group Co., Ltd.

GoGo Curry Group Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture; Representative Director: Makoto Nishihata; hereinafter referred to as GoGo Curry) will open "GoGo Curry Omiya East Exit Store" on Sunday, March 15, 2026.

In the Omiya area, there used to be a GoGo Curry restaurant called "GoGo Curry Omiya Higashiguchi Stadium," which was very popular with many customers. However, due to various circumstances, it closed down, and for about 10 years since then, there has been no GoGo Curry restaurant in the vicinity of Omiya Station.

We've received numerous requests to bring Go Go Curry back to Omiya. In response to these expectations, we've decided to reopen in the Omiya Station East Exit area after approximately 10 years. Our special original roux, which is simmered for 5 hours through 55 steps and then aged for another 55 hours, will be served with freshly fried cutlets and shredded cabbage. The taste of Kanazawa curry is coming to Omiya once again.

A "revival" after approximately 10 years – a store that GoGo Curry is putting its heart and soul into.

Omiya is a city where daily life routes such as commuting, going to school, and shopping intersect, and it is an area with a strong demand for eating out. Furthermore, the area around the station is known as a "gourmet battleground" with a wide variety of restaurants.
For our company, the reopening of our Omiya location is not just about opening a new store, but a crucial base for spreading the food culture of Kanazawa curry once again. We will refine the iconic style of our curry—the rich, flavorful roux, shredded cabbage, pork cutlet, stainless steel plate, and fork—into a store experience that can be enjoyed more quickly and comfortably.

Comment from the manager of the Omiya East Exit store

Omiya is a town where, when we first opened our store, we were warmly welcomed by the local community.
Due to various circumstances, we had to temporarily suspend our pop-up store operations, but we haven't forgotten the voices of those who said, "We want to eat in Omiya again."
The Omiya East Exit store, which is making a comeback after about 10 years, is a challenge that Go Go Curry is putting a lot of effort into.
Located in the heart of a fiercely competitive gourmet district, we aim to create a restaurant where customers can experience the charm of Kanazawa curry and make it a regular part of their daily lives.

[GoGo Curry Group Co., Ltd.]

Founded in 2003, the company opened its first store in Shinjuku, Tokyo in 2004, becoming a driving force behind the "Kanazawa Curry Boom." In 2005, it opened its main store in Kanazawa, and in 2007, it made its first overseas expansion with a store in Times Square, New York. Since 2017, the company has focused on business succession-type M&A, taking over the operation of Hot House, a long-established Indian curry restaurant in Kanazawa, and in 2019, Turban Curry, the originator of Kanazawa curry. In January 2023, the head office moved from Tokyo to Kanazawa, and in March, Makoto Nishihata, who comes from a major IT (information technology) company, became CEO and Representative Director and President. The GoGo Curry Group aims to become the "world's No. 1 curry specialty trading company," and operates approximately 140 stores domestically and internationally.
