GoGo Curry Group Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture; CEO and President: Nishihata Makoto) is pleased to announce that May 5th has been officially registered as "GoGo Curry Day" by the Japan Anniversary Association.
This day, named after the pronunciation of "Go-go (5/5)," was established to express gratitude to all curry fans both in Japan and abroad, as well as to promote the development of curry culture.
May 5th is also Children's Day, but at GoGo Curry we want to make it a special day that everyone can enjoy, by making it a "Curry Anniversary that Both Children and Adults Can Enjoy."
To celebrate this anniversary, we will be designating the period from April 28th (Monday) to May 6th (Tuesday) as "GW = Go-Go Week" and will be running a number of spectacular events.
The official character of GoGo Curry, Goriko, will be the navigator to introduce the gorgeous events being held during Golden Week (GoGo Week).
[May 5th only] Premium tickets will be given away!
GoGo Curry stores nationwide and customers who order takeout or delivery will receive a set of five "topping service coupons (premium tickets)", one for each meal!
It will only be distributed on a special day once a year. Don't miss it!

Founded in 2003, the first store opened in Shinjuku, Tokyo in 2004, sparking the "Kanazawa curry boom." The Kanazawa flagship store opened in 2005, and in 2007, the first store overseas opened in Times Square, New York. Since 2017, the company has been focusing on business succession-type M&A, taking over the operations of Kanazawa's long-established Indian curry restaurant "Hot House" and in 2019, the original Kanazawa curry restaurant "Turban Curry."
